MBREA hosted an after-hours drop in at Tree House Brewing in Sandwich when about 20 appraisers got together to enjoy the brews, pizza, and to network. It was a fun time of reconnecting with old friends and making new ones.

We were able to celebrate a special milestone in the professional careers of two MBREA members. At today's Annual Meeting we presented Jonathan Lowe with his RA designation and Jason Dono with his MRA designation.

What makes this a special occasion is that Jonathan is following in the footsteps of his mother, MBREA past-president Mary Granville, MRA while Jason's father is MBREA past-president Howard Dono, MRA.

Both Jason and Jonathan were also installed as MBREA Trustees. Congratulations Jason and Jonathan!

The MBREA held its January Networking Event at Trilliums Brewing in Canton on 1/13/26 with about 30 appraisers in attendance. Thank you to Danyl Collings, Joann Wynkoop, Allan Cohen, and Paul Fisher for organizing the evening. A special shoutout to Stephanie Hitchings for getting her panel of appraisers to drop in.

The Senate Banking Committee is considering the 315 page ROAD to Housing Act today that contains two sections that are beneficial to the appraisal profession. The first would restore licensed residential appraisers to the FHA roster while the second would establish a uniform ROV process. The MBREA sent this letter of support to Senator Warren yesterday
