We are so excited to finally share our segment from The American Dream TV featuring The Net Shed at the Port of Everett! 🎬⚓️🐠

One of the things we loved most while filming this episode was learning the story behind The Net Shed name. Long before the waterfront became what it is today, the original net sheds were gathering places for Everett’s fishing community — places where fishermen and their families mended nets, shared tools, swapped stories, and built deep community ties along the marina.

Getting to sit down with the owners, Sean and Vince, and help tell that story was such an incredible experience.

One of the things we love most about real estate is that it’s never just about homes. It’s about the people, businesses, history, and sense of community that make an area feel special in the first place.

Some homes sell quickly. Others require strategy, patience, honest conversations, and the willingness to adapt when the market speaks.

This sale was one of the most challenging transactions of our careers — but also one of the most rewarding.

When we took over the listing, we completely refreshed the presentation with staging, new photography and video, Zillow Showcase marketing, and paid advertising. But one of the biggest challenges was helping navigate pricing expectations in a changing market.

The truth is: marketing matters tremendously… but pricing matters too.
Once we were able to reposition the home in alignment with today’s market, we secured a buyer and successfully closed just one week later.

We’re incredibly grateful our seller trusted us through the process, and proud that together we were able to get this home sold successfully.

People see the finished videos… but not always the retakes, patience, and time that go into getting the right shots.

Our listings include professional staging, photography, and video because virtually every buyer starts their home search online now — including every single buyer we’ve worked with over the last decade. First impressions matter, and we want our listings to create lots of buzz from the moment they go live.

So yes… sometimes Tim has to walk through the same shot 14 times until he stops looking at the camera. 🎥😂

Our very first episode of The American Dream TV is almost here! 🎬

We’re so excited to share this teaser from our upcoming segment filmed at the beautiful Port of Everett featuring The Net Shed restaurant and fish market. One of our favorite parts of this experience has been getting to highlight places that make the Pacific Northwest such an incredible place to live, work, and build community.

After just 13 days on the market, this home went pending for over $100,000 more than the other matching floor plans that sold in the neighborhood this year — and even more than nearby new construction homes with similar or larger square footage.

But the bigger story is how we got there.

A little late getting our May Monthly Edit posted… but better late than never. 🌿✨

After nearly a decade in real estate—and personally owning 12 homes—here’s what we know to be true:

✅ There is no such thing as a perfect house.�That’s why knowing your have-to-haves vs. nice-to-haves is everything.

✅ Your first home is almost never your forever home.�It’s a stepping stone—and we should be thinking about resale from day one.

✅ Who you work with matters more than interest rate headlines.�The right guidance can change everything. (And save you tens of thousands of dollars.)

✅ Strategy beats hype. Every time.�This isn’t about luck—it’s about being informed and prepared.

We’ve loved so many of the homes we’ve owned—but not a single one was “perfect.”
�The goal isn’t perfection. It’s making a smart move that sets you up for what’s next.
