Did you know that how a wire is stripped can be a safety hazard?

Take a look at this electrical panel find. The copper conductors should be stripped just enough so the insulation sits tight against the breaker terminal.

When it’s over-stripped like this, that exposed copper is just waiting for an accidental contact, an electrical arc, or a short circuit. It's basically an open invitation for trouble inside the panel.
