Today we stop to honor and give our heartfelt thanks to the 19 million veterans living in the United States that so selflessly served our great nation along with those still serving! Veterans Day originated as Armistice Day on November 11, 1919. President Eisenhower officially changed the name from Armistice Day to Veterans Day in 1954. Badger Honor Flight is incredibly honored to have flown so many deserving veterans over the years to Washington, DC to see the memorials built in their honor.
