Dear Friends and Clients,
As the days grow shorter, the Holiday Season begins, and as 2024 starts coming to a close, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the concept of Community and the meaning it brings to our lives. Helping families find their new homes and reconnecting with several old friends have been by far the highlights of my year. If we haven't spoken together in a while, I'd love to hear how you're doing and how your year went! It is energizing to collaborate with people who are moving from one stage of life to the next—which, when you think about it, is something we all are constantly doing in one way or another.
This issue has an article on the value of Receiving, a true story from my archives on a family Christmas tree cutting adventure; a wonderful botanical article by Summer on milkweeds; and a fun Holiday restaurant guide.
My daughter Summer and I compile and edit these Connection Chronicles together on a somewhat quarterly basis. This is our 18th edition! Our aim is to curate and provide simple, yet valuable stories and ideas along with resources that promote wellbeing and community connection, from children to seniors and all those between. These Chronicles provide us with a rewarding way to contribute to the tie that binds our homes and community.
