Every September, sunflowers turn powerfully toward the Flatirons — one final blaze of gold before seasons change. The Farmers Market keeps going strong with fresh apples and c***r, and harvest gatherings start dotting the county one weekend after another.

But there’s another kind of season starting, too. Summer scatters everyone — road trips, lake days, mountain towns — and fall calls us all back to the Front. Like the sunflowers themselves, we turn toward what warms us. Porches fill back up. Neighbors reappear. Life just shines a little differently once everyone’s home.
