If you have been sitting back waiting on interest rates to drop that time has come. Rates are now below 6.5% for the first time in a year. They're expected to continue down further once the Federal Reserve cuts rates. We have already begun to see an uptick in both buyer and seller activity which will result in more homes coming to market but also Buyer activity and competitiveness increase as those sellers and new buyers also seek new homes.
Now is a good time to check back in with your lender and reopen the home buying discussion with me to ensure you can identify the right opportunity when it hits the market.
