1987 Graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelors Degree in Geology
1987– 1999—Geologist/Project Manager for a geochemical consulting firm in both the oil and gas and environmental industries. Promoted from field work and project management to sales and project management in 1995 —traveled extensively.
2000—Received My Real Estate License 2003—Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI) in 2003 2005—Green Points Certification
Became extremely involved in the Boulder Valley School district because the betterment of public education is my passion and to better serve my clients in their school choices. Over the years I have served as:
• Member of the “School Improvement Teams” for my sons schools; Flatirons Elementary, Manhattan Middle School, Boulder High School (11 years)
• Member of the “Parent Teacher Organizations” for Flatirons Elementary, Manhattan Middle School and Boulder High (12 years)
• Member of the Boulder Valley School Districts “District Parent Council” (6 years)
• Member of the Boulder Valley School Districts “District Accountability Committee” (3 years, ongoing)
• Member of the Flatirons Elementary Accreditation Team (2003); the Community Montessori Accreditation Team (2008)
Currently serve on numerous fundraising committees to support the schools and the associations my son is in- volved in. My family likes to ski, cross country ski, ice skate , kayak, fish and camp, but our sons’ activities (hockey, music and baseball) preoccupy most of our free time! As a full service real estate professional, I work with buyers, sellers and investors in real estate transactions spanning all of the price ranges and property types. Residential Single Family – My residential single family services connect buyers with sellers every day, and I do it with professionalism and a total dedication to my clients. This property type is the majority of my market transactions, but by far not the only one in which I have expertise. Condominiums – While condominiums are residential, they’re a very different market focus, and I am an expert in evaluating condos and helping buyers and sellers to cope with the special financing and homeowner concerns for this property type. The detailed return on investment and valuation calculations investors need to evaluate properties for rental are second nature to me. Vacant Land – Land is a very special property class. It’s relatively easy to show a gourmet cook a wonderful commercial kitchen in a home and see their eyes light up. It’s more of a challenge to help a buyer or seller to realize the potential in a piece of land. I'm the best at it in the Boulder, Lafayette, Lyons, Louisville, Golden, Nederland, Firestone, Frederick, and Longmont real estate markets.
