Businesses in Kankakee County have not been immune to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Bakers Square and Coyote Canyon, neighbors on Rt. 50 in Bradley, have announced they will not reopen. JCPenney, the last of the four anchor stores at Northfield Square Mall, is currently having a final sale before it closes for good. Victoriaβs Secret and Bath & Body Works β owned by the same parent company and also in the mall β are closing, too.
These businesses are among the latest additions to the list of projects that McColly Bennett is working on. That list is below.
Itβs unfortunate, of course, any time a business closes. But with change comes opportunity, and hereβs to hoping a new wave of businesses can utilize these properties, many of which are in highly visible locations.
