Brookside Condo Resales

Brookside Condo Resales Located just over the Bourne Bridge on Cape Cod, Brookside is a newly-developed townhome community Maintenance staff is on site Monday through Friday.

Brookside's developer, Northland, has been building since 2003, and is currently selling the last few units. The Association has been turned over to the residents, who have retained Mercantile Property Management. The financials are strong, the people are nice, and the place looks great! Located approximately a mile from the foot of the Cape Cod side of the Bourne Bridge, it’s easy and convenient,

whether your destination is the Cape, Boston, Providence, or beyond. In addition, there are beautiful beaches, historic neighborhoods, inspiring shopping, and robust cultural opportunities – not to mention biking, walking, or running along the canal. Or just watching the sun set. We are on the west shore heading from the bridge toward Falmouth, and the views and sunsets are truly exquisite. The community is built around the Brookside Golf Course, which is both public and beloved by golfers. The course is long and scenic, and fees are reasonable. In addition, the Sunset Grille at The Brookside Club has spectacular long views over the golf course to Buzzards Bay (and the setting sun), and a mouth-watering menu. It’s also a sought-after place for weddings and other events. If you’re not in the mood for a full meal, just belly up to the bar or mosey on out to the veranda. The sun sets every day! Pets are welcome at Brookside, and walking the dog is a great way to get to know the neighbors, including the pooches and pups. As the only non-dog owner in my group of four homes, I can attest to the great sound insulation between units. I hear not a thing, not even a bark, from inside any neighboring home.

A petition has circulated to recall the entire Board of Trustees. One area of contention is that the Board violated its fiduciary responsibility to residents by changing the front porch from HOA responsibility to homeowner. The Board response is that it never was entirely HOA responsibility, just the frame, which remains.

Candidate from Amberwood/Springbrook needed to fill neighborhood vacancy.

Landscape chair candidates sought for this important Brookside position.

This gets my vote for the most imaginative and charming seasonal decoration. It’s at The Daily Brew in Cataumet, and word has it that Jackie’s fabulous daughters are the makers. Great job, Daily Brewettes! You provide us not only with yummy and fast breakfast and lunch sustenance, but also always a warm welcome!
