The garage can be a good place to make up for areas a home is lacking - man cave, work space, home gym etc

Converting the area to living space will add to the homes square footage which could mean increased value

Garages are necessities for some but my car can sleep outside any day for an extra room to get creative with

Are there Cons?
- Difficult to control climate because heat rises to the ceiling leaving the lower level chilly

- Sounds tends to echo in that area and travel throughout the house

Personally I think those drawbacks are minimal in comparison to the aesthetic

It’s like having a joint savings account with your neighbors to pay for community maintenance, amenities, etc

Each condo community will have an association of board members who decide how the funds are spent and create a budget for that community

Like most things there are pros & cons
( the board members are the neighbors - pro or con lol?)
