Not all closings end in celebration.

Some come with pain and loss—selling the last tangible piece of someone who once was. Some are heavy, and the client is navigating far more than a real estate transaction.

I’m grateful for the real-life experiences this career gives me to share with my little assistant, because not all hard work leads to shiny things or big celebrations.

Sometimes it’s the mundane details, the little things you quietly put into place, and being there to help someone through a hard season.

And sometimes, the best thing you can do is listen, be present, and let someone know they don’t have to navigate it alone.

I’m grateful she gets to see that part of the work, too.
