BLOCKED VENTS TRAP HEAT AND MOISTURE. đ¨
Soffit vents are your atticâs air intake. When paint, insulation, debris, or nests block them, air may not move as intended: contributing to trapped heat and moisture, condensation, premature aging of roof materials, and uneven attic conditions.
3-point tip:
â
Keep soffit vents clear.
â
Never stuff insulation into the eaves.
â
Before closing or renovating, confirm roof-ventilation questions with a qualified specialist.
A visual inspection can identify observable ventilation concerns, but it is not a code approval, compliance certification, or warranty, and cannot verify concealed airflow performance. If staining or persistent condensation is present, consult a qualified roofing or attic-ventilation specialist.
