Interesting statistics for our area. On the Montgomery County side, the market is making a shift in favor of buyers (although, inventory still remains low) and on the Berks County side the market is making a shift in favor of sellers.
Also, on the Montgomery County side, the interest seems to lean towards ATTACHED properties like townhomes whereas on the Berks County side the interest leans towards DETATCHED properties.

It’s the time of year where we start planning those spring projects so I wanted to highlight my go to for all of my bulk products. Liv'n Green Supply & Country Store owner Corey Melcher started this adventure in 2011 when he dumped a pile of mulch in a parking lot and started selling it by the scoop. Over the years he’s humbly grown far greater than that pile of mulch despite not having a plan. He grew up here in and developed a good old fashioned blue collar work ethic, got to work, and hasn’t stopped and doesn’t plan to. At Liv’n Green the opportunities seem endless. I get my mulch, stone, sand, and topsoil here, but stop inside the store and you can get fresh honey from hives right out back, seafood, t-shirts, coffee, meats, produce, dairy, and the list goes on. Right on Rt 100 across from Passmore and Burt’s Farms he has his little Country Store and its the perfect little shop to give you that old country feel with new age quality products. Check him out and stock up on your mulch and topsoil here soon.

I had lunch today at the coolest little gem called Zinnia's Tea House. As soon as I pulled up I knew I had to make it my . Annette took time to sit at my table and tell me a little about her wonderful Tea House and let me just say, everyone has to make a point to visit this place. It's exactly the type of small town, family style place we've always needed in our area. Annette and her husband retired recently after 37 years of running a print shop down the road in Trappe and decided she liked people far to much to sit around in retirement. Just this past May (2022) she opened up shop in a beautiful home they converted which is just loaded with 123 years of memories. The family who owned it before her raised their 16 kids in it, and there's actually a photo hanging with 5 of those kids sitting around a table drinking tea back in the 60s! Rooted in memories of enjoying tea rooms with her sister, Annette has put together quite the family operation here. You'll find it a surprise that the house is not actually a home anymore, because each room genuinely feels like she's invited you into her home and prepared a meal or a snack for you. One question I ask everyone when I do this is "what do you love about " and I've had tons of answers, but none rang in my ears like hers. "It's a great place to raise children." This week it is my pleasure to highlight and introduce to you all, Alexis Wasson, owner of The Artisan’s Nook. A cute little beauty salon nestled between Iezzi’s and The Grind. Step into this week’s and enjoy the cozy feel of hardwood floors and original mason walls. Alexis strives to make her salon feel like you’re visiting family, and that she does. I was in the other day while a client of hers was finishing up and I assumed they were related based on the interaction but nope, that’s just how she makes you feel! There are people who regularly stop in just to sit and chat, it’s that comfortable in there! Alexis loves . She loves the community we’ve created here, the people who make up that community, the fact that everyone holds each other up and supports each other, and she has a true passion for hair. It was clear to the owner of her building when it became available that she NEEDED to get in and start her own salon, so after some encouragement from him, his wife, and her family she took the leap in October 2021 and cut the ribbon on this gorgeous little place which frankly makes ME even want to get my hair cut! If you’ve been looking for the salon care without all of the salon baggage, I encourage you to look within our very own small town, and stop in at The Artisan’s Nook.
