• Look at the age and condition of the roof, windows, heating system & AC
• Check for signs of water damage in basements and ceilings
• Pay attention to traffic, noise and the surrounding neighborhood
• Test your normal commute from the area
• Look at storage, parking and how the layout would actually work for you
• And remember, a beautifully staged home can still have things worth investigating
