Having an electrical panel next to a water source such as a bathroom is a potential shock hazard. Temperature changes in the bathroom can cause moisture to build up inside the panel and cause it to corrode.

Venting the dryer through the attic is not a problem when done correctly with smooth metal duct terminating through an appropriate cap and sealed to the roof decking. Dryer duct should never terminate to the attic space, if it does it will potentially fill your attic with warm, moist air that could ruin the attic insulation and create the environment conducive for mold growth.

Water damage can cause many issues including structure damage and the possibility for mold. Any sign of moisture intrusion as seen in this video should be looked into as soon as possible.
