First time home buyers come in all ages. I hear too often people gruff in disappointment for not being a homeowner by a certain age.

There is a TON to comprehend alone and then there is also strategy. What are your plans for the property? Will it be investment or primary? Do you have an exit plan? Or something in place for when the appliances or roof need to be replaced?

Some glaze over when I point out the projected payment schedule (aka Amortization Schedule) is paying back interest first for the first 15ish years. It can be nauseating to think of how much money just 💸🪟😟

The cost of owning a place can become a liability quickly if you aren’t prepared. Educate yourself and find a purchase AND exit strategy you are comfortable with. Make sure you have a good trust worthy team in place to help you through this process. The benefits of owning real estate could improve the quality of life not just for the individual but also the community. Of course there is also huge risk so it’s extremely important to be an informed consumer and again, have your trustworthy team in place.

Appreciate the pause! Real estate is a wild horse 🫶

Throwback to 2014!! Who knew then that 8 years later we would become Willow Title?? 👀

Trish Mander and I at my surprise birthday party. Trish got started in title more than 30 years ago thanks to an ad she saw in the newspaper. She was living in New York at the time and stayed in the industry once she relocated to Florida. She loves helping people close on their dream homes and appreciates the diversity we see inside Florida real estate. 🏡🔑

My start in title came by helping my mom on summer breaks. I kind of grew up in the industry and decided to join my mom once I was 18. I think my favorite part about this industry is the front row seats we have to the workings of our economy and how cool the history is to some of the properties we get to close. 🏡🔑

Such a sweet trip down memory lane 🤗
