I still have a burning passion for the real estate market and business as a whole. I’ve simply conquered a few other skill sets along the way (ecomm and then trading/stocks). However, my real estate knowledge is still second to very few. So many brokers and agents are struggling in today’s market. Business has slowed. Prices are too high. Sellers who are locked into 2-3% interest rates? Are never selling. Buyers? Can’t afford anything. And everyone seems to be PRAYING for a rate cut that don’t seem to be coming anytime soon if we’re being completely honest. This economy and market needs the crash (whether it be a hard or soft landing). Sad truth yet still the truth. Otherwise prices will continue to go up and out price the entire middle class (as it’s already done in the last 2-3 years).
So for you brokers and agents I ask you this. What are you doing to stay competitive? It’s a genuine and serious question. Most of you barely grasped online storage platforms if we’re being honest (dotloop/app files, skyslope) so have you even tried using AI to make life easier? To cut down cost? And if not, then how are you affording an assistant or someone to offload that work?
My coordinating and assisting company does about 90% of the backend work for you (outside of collecting your commission and depositing it into your bank).
