My profile has been spoofed. The way this happens is the guilty person downloads my banner and profile photos, sets their new page up to resemble my page, and invites all my friends. The way to know if you are being spoofed and how to deal with it:

Clues to fishing/bogus friend requests:
1) look at the profile photo (mine doesn’t have stick figures along the bottom)
2) count the number of friends and photos. I have more than 1.
3) search to see if you are already friends. If so, there are 2 different names to the profile.
4) decline that request & block them.
