💧The City of Helena, in partnership with DB Utility, will begin replacing water meters across Helena over the next several weeks. The upgrades will improve meter accuracy, water system efficiency and long-term service reliability.
Because meters are located inside homes, customers must schedule an appointment for replacement.

Customers can schedule an appointment:

• By phone: (303) 900-8602, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

Over the next several weeks, project staff from DB Utility will contact affected customers by phone. If they cannot reach a customer, they will leave a door hanger.

Three Forks, leaf drop-off at the Rodeo grounds this weekend!

The Fall Cleanup dumpsters are scheduled to be at the Rodeo Grounds on Friday, October 23, and will be there over the weekend. As the leaves are dropping and you're raking them up, you can drop them off at the L&L dumpster over there (closest to Illinois Street side) for branches and limbs, your old Christmas tree maybe, and of course leaves. This is not for trash - just yard waste, and if you do have tree limbs, they need to be cut to 4-foot lengths or smaller. Thank you!

Tomorrow, Bozeman! Have your leaf bags ready 🍁

Do your part for fall leaf cleanup! Next week on October 22, our Streets teams will begin clearing leaves off Bozeman’s streets. Check our map at bozemanmt.gov/leafcleanup to learn if you are in the Subdivision or Core area. If you live in a Subdivision area, please bag your leaves in a compostable bag and put them on the boulevard for pickup on your designated day. If you live in a Core area, please clear the street and rake your leaves into the gutter so crews can bale the leaves on your cleanup day. Please put any yard waste, like branches or weeds, into a compostable bag and put it on the boulevard for pickup.

This seasonal project makes an important difference in Bozeman. Leaf cleanup keeps leaves out of our storm drains and protects our waterways. Thank you for your help!

Did this weekend's snowstorm leave you with branches and leaves to clean up? ❄️🍂 Good timing! Belgrade's annual Fall Yard Waste Cleanup is just around the corner, Oct. 19-24!

Residents have two easy ways to dispose of yard waste:

CURBSIDE PICKUP | Oct. 20-21
Place yard waste where you normally set out your trash by 7 AM on Oct. 20. Crews will make only one pass, so don't miss it!

DROPOFF | Oct. 19-24
Bring yard waste to Bolinger Pit (18869 Frontage Rd.) between 7 AM and 4 PM daily. Please use the designated areas only!

Accepted materials: Bagged leaves, grass clippings and plant debris (40-pound bag limit), plus securely bundled branches and trimmings no longer than 3 feet. No household trash or other non-yard waste items.

This annual cleanup is made possible by Belgrade Public Works and L&L Site Services Inc.

⛄️The first snow of Fall or beginning of Winter has graced us with its presence!

❄️This is a friendly reminder that snow plows and snow removal contracts don’t start until November 1st.

🌦️ Please, don’t forget to keep your driveways, sidewalks and walkways clear. Most snow removal on lots, unless privately hired, fall to the owner or tenant.

🚜 City roadways or public streets are plowed and maintained by the City.

Heavy snow has caused widespread tree damage across Bozeman. Our Forestry Division is responding to storm-related hazards alongside other city departments to protect public safety.

Crews are starting in the downtown corridor and working outward across the community, prioritizing dangerous hanging limbs and other immediate hazards.

Please be aware that we have received more than 200 emails and voicemails related to storm damage. We appreciate the concern and are currently focusing all of our efforts on addressing public safety hazards. We’ll do our best to respond to these messages afterwards. Cleanup of downed branches in areas deemed safe may be delayed as crews prioritize more dangerous hazards.

Your safety matters:
1. Do not attempt to remove broken or hanging limbs yourself. Hidden hazards, including downed power lines, may be present. Call 911 immediately if you encounter a downed power line.
2. Use caution when walking beneath trees. Additional limbs may fall without warning.
Forestry clears public areas only. Please take branches from private property to the Bozeman Convenience Site rather than piling them on the boulevard, which slows community cleanup.
3. Heavy snow can damage even healthy trees. Please give our crews time to work safely and prioritize the most dangerous areas first.

Residents can take advantage of two easy disposal options — curbside pickup on Oct. 20–21 or drop-off at the Bolinger Pit Oct. 19–24. Bagged leaves, lawn clippings, and securely bound trimmings are accepted.
