Some restaurants just feed a town. The Moran’s show up for it. 🍽️

Burke calls Montana’s Rib & Chop House “the community’s restaurant,” and it started in Livingston in 2001.

I have noticed their logo on the scoreboards in the other towns where my kids play, so I had to ask him about it. That’s his answer.

He meant it as a compliment. There was admiration in these guys’ voices as they suggested that I must eat 2 sandwiches for lunch, or how many beers must I be able to drink?!🙄

Unfortunately, when you’re a 16 year old girl, being told “you’re huge” does not feel great. To me, it sounded like he was saying:

A) you’re undatable
B) you’re intimidating
C) you’re gross
D) all of the above

So for decades, I longed to be smaller. I wondered how I could possibly disguise these shoulders?! Side note: why in the world were shoulder pads ever a thing?

Only in recent years have I begun to appreciate how my physical strength translates into mental strength.

I know I can do hard things (like naturally deliver three 10lb babies) and I’ve always had that inner knowing.

There are many examples where my physical strength came in clutch in my life.

Ultimately, it turns out that “you’re huge” was a compliment all along. It was me that was slow on the uptake.

That causes me to wonder what else I might have a skewed perspective on. Now I’m on a mission…💪🏻

I spent the last couple days in Big Sky with other luxury agents from around the country.

We saw many beautiful spaces, pitch perfect interior design, and stunning architecture, but this was my favorite. But, what is it? What are we looking at here?

This is the view from the lobby of oneandonlybigsky and what you’ll notice is nothing between the building I’m standing in and the peak.

But would you believe, there are 19 homes in between the two, like really close?

That was intentional. The designers set out to feature “ridgelines not rooflines” and in my opinion, they nailed it.

So the best thing I saw while in Big Sky? Nature. That’s all!
