Home prices took a huge jump in 2021 & 2022. Some homes as much as a 50% increase in just two year. This has made buyers more selective with their offers and more picky about the interior design. They feel that for a premium price - that home better be perfect in their view. Even though the seller may have priced their home perfectly based on comparable sales - if the first impression of the interior doesn't speak to that buyer, they may not make an offer or if they do, the offer may be at a lower price giving them some budget to remodel.

Lots of buyers taking advantage of the lower interest rates last week getting homes under contract and a few reports of multiple offers on some homes.
