This time of year, we’re reminded how many people are drawn to Montana. And for good reason. Tourism is an important part of our local economy, and one of the things that makes Bozeman such a vibrant place to live... but there’s a difference between visiting Montana and calling it home.

Visitors get to experience the beauty of summer. Those of us who live here know every season has something worth looking forward to. Long winters don’t keep us inside. They bring ski days, quiet trails, community gatherings, and a pace of life that’s just as rewarding as the warmer months.

I’m grateful every day that this isn’t just a place I get to visit. It’s a place I get to call home.

Real estate wasn’t the original reason I came to Bozeman... Bridger Bowl was.

I moved here in 1999 with skiing on my mind, but I also started paying attention to the growth happening in Big Sky. I saw the momentum around the Yellowstone Club, Spanish Peaks, and Moonlight Basin and decided I wanted to be part of it.

I earned my real estate license in 2004 and started my career in Big Sky. Nearly three decades later, the same thing that brought me here remains the reason I stay. If you value the outdoors, open space, and a close connection to nature, Bozeman is a pretty special place to call home.
