There has been a new website launched where you can put in your address and see an estimate of what your property taxes could be if Governor DeSantis’s property tax proposal passes. It is being proposed that you must be a Florida homeowner for 5 years before receiving these benefits. But this could be a huge step in home owner affordability here in Florida.
The special session starts Monday. If lawmakers pass his proposal, it would then go on the ballot and need 60% of voters to approve it.
