The market continued the shift toward tighter conditions, with stronger sales absorbing available inventory, and giving sellers somewhat more leverage.

It is a great time for buyers to explore properties as we started school this past week, so most families with children aren’t searching to re-locate and change school districts. Also, tourism is lower currently as we are in our peak hurricane season, so less people are traveling to the Gulf coast of Florida.

I’ve put together a housing market report for you to check out with the latest numbers from June.

What i’ve seen personally is a very patient and diligent buyer, who has no problem walking away from properties if the sellers won’t move on price point. This has led to longer days on market, even with inventory shrinking as we enter our historically more slow months of the year.
