Since 2012, the Giving Challenge has raised over $75 million in unrestricted funding for nearly 700 nonprofit organizations in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. Let's make 2024 another record-breaking year!

Thanks to The Patterson Foundation, all donations ranging from $25 to $100 will be matched 1:1 during this period, providing supporters a fantastic opportunity to double their impact!

Our Club's Goal: $50,000 for The Rotary Club of Sarasota Foundation to raise for local charities including our Project


-Booker Nation Project: $138,000 committed or spent on the Booker Nation Project, supporting initiatives such as simultaneous translation devices for non-English-speaking parents at Booker Elementary and the construction of sunshade covers for student comfort during recess.

- Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties: $10,000 pledged for the Boys and Girls Club, continuing our commitment of $50,000 over five years.

- Our Differences : $7,500 dedicated to Embracing Our Differences, contributing to our ongoing support totaling $37,500 over five years.

- Suncoast Charities for Children: $5,000 contributed to Suncoast Charities for Children, enriching the lives of deserving children in our community.

- Suncoast Campaign for Grade-Level Reading : $13,500 allocated for Kindergarten Readiness Bags for the eighth consecutive year, ensuring our youngest learners have the tools they need to succeed.

- Sarasota County SchoolsSchools Graduating Senior Scholarships: $21,000 in scholarships awarded to graduating seniors pursuing post-secondary education, empowering our future leaders for the third year in a row.
