🎶 I WAS THERE — LIVE AID 1985! 🎸❤️ & so was my Hubs before we were a “thing” !!!
Tell me!!! What was your favorite concert and favorite performer ever and where was it, alley neon light the date and who you went with and what you most remember about it!
On July 13, 1985, I had the incredible experience of being inside JFK Stadium in Philadelphia for LIVE AID — and looking back almost 41 years later, I realize even more just how special that day was.
Nearly 100,000 of us packed into JFK Stadium for an entire day of music while millions of people around the world watched on television. And what a lineup we got to see!

One of the most unforgettable moments was watching Phil Collins, who had performed at Live Aid in London earlier that day, arrive in Philadelphia after flying across the Atlantic on the Concorde — and then seeing Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones reunite as Led Zeppelin and perform Stairway to Heaven.
We didn’t have cell phones in our hands documenting every second. We were simply there — living it. ❤️
Live Aid wasn’t just a concert. It was one of those rare moments when music brought the world together for something bigger than itself, raising awareness and money for famine relief in Africa.
I feel incredibly lucky that when people talk about Live Aid on July 13, 1985, I can say…
“I was there.” 🎶❤️
