America the Beautiful
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

God shed His grace on thee,
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

wrote the poem America the Beautiful. Her poem first appeared in print on July 4, 1895 in The
Congregationalist, a weekly journal. Ms. Bates revised the lyrics in 1904 and again in 1913.

Here we see a vine with some poison ivy growing through the siding/framing of the house and into the interior via an electrical outlet! Keep those vines/ivy under control on the exterior of your home- they are extremely invasive!
