Built 1933–1936 in Rochester, NY, the Rundel Memorial Library is home to a beautiful set of bronze windows as well as a famous canal (Eerie) running beneath it! Designed by Gordon & Kaelber in Beaux-Arts/Art Deco style, it opened as the city’s first central public library, dedicated October 4, 1936, and later listed on the National Register of Historic Places (1985). All of the windows were removed and restored off site. The deep, non-directional finish of the bronze can be viewed over the water for anyone to visit.

The recently conserved window at St. John’s Church in Fishers Island NY, is back home and glowing! The window dates to 1892, and was made by the Tiffany Glass & Decorating Company. It was terrific to work on this project with a dynamic team. This was a big one…swipe to see the install!

This is what the inside of the cupola looks like in the Tennessee capital building. It takes about ~1,000 pounds of bronze to make one window. The 60’s replacement windows are gone, and we are going back in time to 1845 when they were double hung windows. 100% bronze frame and sash all glazed with VIG glass units; all custom from the ground up (~200 feet in the air, to be exact!).
