Buyers in Central New Jersey are seeing more options as early fall brings a shift in housing choice. 🍂
In areas like Middlesex County, the increase in available homes is making it easier to compare properties, from move-in ready homes to those that could use some updating. The pool of buyers may be smaller than in peak spring, but those searching now are often more determined and focused on real deadlines like a move, a job change, or a school schedule.
The balance isn’t the same everywhere. Even with greater selection, some communities, especially in Hunterdon and Somerset, are still seeing well-priced homes draw plenty of interest. For those who know what they want and can move quickly, early fall is a great time to take advantage of both increased choice and a little extra negotiating room on properties that may have lingered or need a fresh approach.
