Work involves pressure washing & sealing all types of exterior hardscape surfaces such as BRICK PAVERS, STAMPED COLORED CONCRETE, EXPOSED AGGREGATE, CONCRETE.
A typical day involves the application of cleaning agent & pressure washing of driveways, patios, walkways, porches, pool decks, tennis courts, composite decks & retaining walls at residential locations throughout Polk & Hillsborough County.?
We return after cleaning has been completed to apply waterproofing sealers to protect & enhance the look & durability of the surface. Previous experience painting or application of exterior coatings is ideal.
The Ideal Candidate is experienced with the following:
Coldwater pressure cleaning
Hot Water Pressure washing and running a commercial hot water burner.
Concrete stamped colored concrete & exposed aggregate cleaning & sealing
Composite deck cleaning
Brick paver cleaning, sand installation & sealing
Daily maintenance of pressure washer engine and pump
Managing jobs and customer face-to-face interactions.
Driving company truck with an enclosed trailer attached.
Maintaining a high level of customer service in the field.
Requirements:
Possess and maintain a driver's license with a clean driving record.
Submit and pass drug screening.
To meet at our facility in Brandon, Fl every scheduled workday on time or early.
High School Diploma Required (Associate's Degree or higher Preferred)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to pressure wash & seal a variety of exterior surfaces
Ability to lift on a semi-regular basis up to 50-75 lbs.
Ability to maintain an excellent attitude to create a positive work environment and work culture.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, squat, climb stairs, drive, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position works outside and will/may be exposed to rain and extreme heat or cold. Will climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis during each shift. May occasionally walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. Able to manipulate small hand tools.
Occasionally handles hazardous materials/chemicals/cleaners/strippers/sealers
You MUST have your own transportation to & from our location in Brandon, Fl & a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Previous experience operating a pressure washer, driving a truck with a small enclosed trailer, loading, unloading & operating equipment & materials is preferred. The ideal candidate is within 10 miles of Brandon, Florida.
