🚨🏠 One cut turned a structural support into a problem...

During a pre-drywall inspection, Jonathan found a structural issue hidden beneath the staircase that most homeowners would never see.

At first glance, everything looked normal.

But underneath the stairs...

👀 A structural 2x8 member had been cut down significantly, leaving it weakened and already showing signs of splitting.

🚩 Structural member improperly modified
🚩 Visible splitting in the wood
🚩 Stair support compromised

The good news? This was caught BEFORE drywall was installed and before the issue became hidden behind finished walls.

This is exactly why pre-drywall inspections are so valuable. Once the walls go up, problems like this can remain unseen for years.

🚨⚡ BRAND-NEW HOME... WIRED BACKWARDS? 😳

Jonathan was performing a final phase inspection on a brand-new home when he found something most buyers would never notice.

Everything looked great on the surface... until he tested an exterior outlet.

🔍 The result?

The outlet showed a reversed hot and neutral connection, meaning it wasn't wired correctly and needed correction by the builder.

This may seem like a small issue, but electrical components should always be installed properly for safe operation.

That's why we say it over and over:

🚨😳 EVEN OUR INSPECTORS HAD NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE...

During an inspection of a 20-year-old home in FishHawk, Jonathan discovered something so unusual that he immediately called our Service Manager.

His response?

👉 "I've never seen that before either."

Inside the attic, a section of the block wall was missing concrete, exposing rebar and leaving a roof truss without a proper roof-to-wall connection.

🚩 Exposed rebar
🚩 Missing concrete in the wall
🚩 Improper structural connection

The issue wasn't visible from the ground and would have gone unnoticed by most homeowners.
