Historically, most often Sellers agreed to pay the Listing Broker a commission, which was then shared with the Buyerโs Broker. With the new NAR settlement, Agents/Brokers cannot advertise ANY compensation via the MLS, meaning Buyerโs Agents arenโt guaranteed compensation like before and must be agreed upon outside of MLS.
