Land is still attainable here.
While buyers in bigger markets are getting priced out entirely, folks around Table Rock Lake and the surrounding area can still find land at reasonable prices, and pair it with a quality manufactured home for a total package that makes financial sense.
That combination is getting harder to find in most of the country. It still exists here.

Short answer, both are built in a factory, but they're governed by different codes.
Manufactured homes are built to HUD federal code, which is consistent nationwide. Modular homes are built to state building code, same as site-built.
Both can be excellent homes. The right choice depends on your land, your county, and your goals.
