IF you're waiting for rates to plummet that is 😩

By now, I'm sure you're noticing that rates are riding a wave of lows and highs changing every day

This is the reality- one day they can inch down and the next they'll come back up

This is why I recommend you be READY at all times to apply for a loan when rates are a bit better

We won't see 3% rates again in the foreseeable future and we won't see 5% rates tomorrow

This market might seem *clinically insane* but here's what this shark has to say about it

Barbara Corcoran has been known for giving the best real estate advice and she's got more tea to spill

Here's the advice she's giving for today's "impossible market"☕️👇

1. Check days on market information (DOM)

Barbara advises checking how long a home has been sitting on the market- if a home has been on for 6 months or later buyers aren’t looking at it anymore since they want the new listing on the block

This allows you to negotiate with the seller more

2. Don’t buy a house in spring

If you have the flexibility she believes you’ll find better deals buying now rather than in April when things get more hectic

3. Rent out a room

While smaller homes are in high demand due to their lower price tags, Corcoran suggests that investing in a larger home could actually help you pay off your mortgage faster if you’re willing to have a roommate

Try to find a home with a separate entrance for the tenant's unit
