This one means a little more to me. ❤️
Before these sellers ever came to us, they were presented with an “easy” solution.
An agent wanted to purchase the home off-market, renovate it, and resell it.
And when you looked at the numbers, there was a whole lot of equity sitting between what the sellers would have walked away with and what that home could potentially be worth with some work.
That didn't sit right with me.
These sellers had worked for that equity. It was theirs. And if there was a way for them to benefit from improving the house instead of someone else, I wanted to figure out how to make that happen.
The problem was, they were in the middle of moving their entire family to Connecticut. The house needed flooring, paint and repairs, and coming out of pocket for a renovation while moving out of state just wasn't realistic.
So we started putting the puzzle together.
We found a contractor willing to do the work and wait to be paid at closing. That allowed them to move their family and start their new chapter while trusting us to handle things here in Georgia.
And they really did trust us.
They handed us the keys to a house that needed some love, moved hundreds of miles away and basically said, “Take care of it.”
So we did. ❤️
There were renovations, contractors, phone calls, pictures back and forth, a few bumps in the road and plenty of problem solving.
But eventually that house was ready.
We put it on the open market and gave these sellers the opportunity to capture the equity they had spent years building.
And now 1438 Solomon Drive is SOLD. 🏡🔑
I'm proud of this closing, but not because we sold another house.
I'm proud because a family trusted us enough to let us help them find another way.
Sometimes the quickest offer isn't the best answer. Sometimes you need somebody willing to look at the whole picture and ask, “How do we make this work for YOU?”
That's what we did here.
And now their Georgia chapter is officially closed, their Connecticut chapter is already underway, and I couldn't be happier for them.
This is why “Your home. Your story. Our commitment.” means something to me. ❤️
