Surf and ski realty lived up to its name last week.

Caught a few waves on Monday and then got a few turns on the mountain on Friday.

It’s so easy to get back forth from Cabo to Colorado.

Then met up with some friends in Cerritos over the weekend. So much opportunity there right now.

There’s an incredible development with single family homes staying under 300k.

Shortest ski season ever but I kept the streak alive at 38 years!

Definitely a strange feeling to be leaving the mountains for the rest of the season.

Glad I was able to get out for some hot laps with good friends on a quick 72hour trip to Colorado.

Skis were in rough shape but a quick garage tune with some high quality IPA’s fixed them right up.

Now it’s time to trade the skis for surf boards and bikes in Baja.

When the pilot comes on and says

“we got a 1/4 mile visibility, freezing fog and snow in Denver…

Any pilots in the back will know what that means.”

And you’re a big dork so you pull up your and and see 200 ft ceilings and the 1/4 mile viz…

You know it’s gonna be a good time for the guys up front.

Looked like it lifted a bit by the time we got there and was closer to 500ft.

Truth be told driving the van up I-70 was probably spicier…

Pretty sure I just saw a with rental plates pull itself over and shut itself down in the tunnel.

But someone needs to ask the cruise ship to not block the view of the arch though…

Enjoying our first Christmas in Baja… certainly not missing the weather up north!

Fortunate to have family nearby to spend our first “normal” Christmas with Jack.

Anyone who wants to escape the cold is invited down next year.

Hard to believe we’ve been here almost 3 weeks already.

But also feels like we’ve been here forever.

Luckily Jack adapts quickly to “New Home” and settles in easily.

Rooftop sunrise coffee…

Dawn patrol surf sessions…

And pools with views for days…

Plus New business partners and opportunities…

It’s been a fun and productive few weeks.

Psyched for the adventures to come and the chance to help some summit folks find properties in the Cerritos/Todos area.

And also for more surfing. Definitely more surfing.

Attended my first Cabo Open House.

It’s a little different than Colorado.

A DJ playing house music…

Professional bartenders mixing cocktails…

And a food spread fit for a formal event.

Not to mention they even had the Yankee game on the outdoor big screen.

This home is in the Querencia development.

It has incredible views…

The only private golf club in Los Cabos…

And while the price tag isn’t cheap it’s still about 1/3 of what you’d find in a similar property in California.

One of my Cabo co-workers has a new construction build in the same neighborhood coming on the market soon.

Had the opportunity to check out a few properties recently.

First one is just outside of Cabo San Lucas.

This complex has sprawling ocean views from up on the hill. The pool wasn’t too shabby either…

And there are 2 new towers currently under construction. Completion slated for the spring.

The Mountain View photo was from a small development outside of downtown San Jose del Cabo.

Brand new construction at around 200k.

Todos Santos and Cerritos are some of my favorite places in Baja.

Witnessed an incredible sunset from up on the hill.

Then when we left the restaurant the full moon was rising right out of the mountains.

Morning coffee from the rooftop patio at ‘s next Flourish retreat location isn’t too bad either.

Met up with an old summit hockey friend in Cerritos…

And made some new friends, also from summit, who are doing amazing things down here.

The opportunity in this area is exciting. No wonder Cerritos is becoming Summit County South.
