Dear Colorado,

Thank you for teaching me that mountains are worth climbing. The people at the top are the ones that realize the value of the journey. The people at the top are the ones who want to climb for greater things. 36 Years of love. Happy wedding anniversary to the two biggest role models in my life. Their story just goes to show that love conquers all. The reasons I am who I am is because of them. I might be stubborn, but it’s because I’ve been taught what true love is all my life and how not to settle for anything less. Thank you for both being the biggest inspirations in my life. I just decided I am signing up for dance classes. If there’s one thing I love... it’s dancing, and I need to start doing more things I love. To explore the different dynamics of dance between cultures and moves is intoxicating in its own way. Most importantly... to just completely let go and be yourself in the moment and be appreciated for exactly how you express yourself is another form of happiness. I like to move it, move it. Sometimes I sit here and wonder why I get so caught up in emotions but then I’m reminded that these moments are the ones that truly matter...

To when I met these awesome people on the beach while I was having a solo dolo day to myself. They fell in love with who I was for being myself and we decided to create our own dance party. Good friends come from great connection and adventure. Not from behind these stupid little screens... Sitting, waiting and wishing isn’t going to get you anywhere. 💭

Remember when we didn’t have phones and we used disposable cameras? Where we couldn’t edit things at the touch of our fingertips, and we had to wait at least 24 hours for the results?
