For second home owners, winter preparation is about more than checking the thermostat.

Before winter settles into the mountains, it may be a good time to review a few basics around your Breckenridge property:

🏡 Check your heating system and remote monitoring
❄️ Confirm your snow removal plan
🏔️ Walk the property before snow covers important exterior areas
📞 Know who you can call locally when you are away

That might include property management, snow removal services, trusted contractors, or other local resources who can help when you are not in Breckenridge.

Every property is different, and HOA or property management responsibilities can vary. Knowing what applies to your home can make mountain ownership easier to manage throughout the winter season.
