Not even all the way finished and I’m already over here obsessing about our new studio floors. Things are moving right along, exposed ductwork installed, flooring almost finished, cabinets delivered.... lots of work left to do, but I can’t help but feel like it’s finally coming together! 🥰

When we started this project, it was overwhelming. Where do you even start with design choices? Between the three living spaces, the multiple studio spaces, the salon + individual treatment rooms, the office, the list goes on! The ONLY thing I knew for sure was I wanted to keep some of the original elements of the building like a few block walls and concrete floors. So, that’s where I started. I KNEW I had to have really cool exposed ductwork. That’s it, that’s all I knew. So much thought went into the actual demo/construction that switching to “designer” mode was tough! BUT, these arrived today and suddenly I’m using words like beautiful to describe ductwork! Props to Kalmer HVAC for nailing what I was wanting. I can’t wait to see it up everywhere!
