Happy National Hot Chocolate Day!
If you’re staying in on this chilly January day, here’s my go to hot chocolate recipe. It's perfect for warming up before a home tour or cozy nigths in.

Maggie's hot chocolate recipe:
-2 cups milk (dairy free works as well)
-2 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
-2 Tbs granulated sugar
-¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips or chopped chocolate bar
-splash of pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
Add milk, cocoa powder, and sugar to a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, whisking frequently, until warm (but not boiling). Add chocolate chips and whisk constantly until the chocolate chips melt and distribute evenly into the milk. Whisk in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt (if desired), serve with whipped cream :)
