Today, I continue to work to help find housing for folks displaced by Helene. If you need housing, have housing available, or simply want to make a donation to help folks get into temporary housing, please go to www.housing-assistance.com We especially need housing in the $1000 price range. We have been able to help several folks secure temporary housing with the help of many. We continue working to identify more housing options and to match folks with owners/ property managers who have potential matches for folks in need.
I am inspired by the way folks are truly working together to try to help one another! There are some beautiful things happening in the midst of this disaster. Still, many have lost a lot and some have lost nearly everything. Many are going through extremely difficult times and circumstances. We see you! We care! I want folks to know that so many people are working behind the scenes to help. Do not loose hope! Brighter days are coming. Complete strangers are coming together to help people they will never meet. As I witness beautiful acts of kindness, selflessness, and generosity, my faith in humanity is restored! Please continue to share the link and this info. Thank you to all who have contributed in any way to supporting WNC relief efforts. Every act of kindness matters. You matter! 🩷🙏
