I’m pretty sure the sweetest sellers on earth just sold their home to the sweetest buyers on earth! 🥹 This one was truly a perfect fit, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

So thankful for wonderful people on both sides of the table and a closing that just felt good from start to finish. ❤️

🏡🔑✨ TRIPLE CLOSING DAY! ✨🔑🏡

Three closings. Three completely different stories. And three reasons to be thankful today! ❤️

🏡 Closing #1 was easy and straightforward from start to finish. The seller had everything ready and prepared for our buyer, and this home just fit what he needed at exactly the right time. Sometimes you walk in and just know ..and this one came together quickly! 🙌

🌿 Closing #2 made us work for it a little more! 😅 There were definitely some challenges along the way, but I’m so thankful everyone hung in there and kept moving forward. I truly believe my buyer is going to find the peace she’s been looking for here… and with that beautiful pond view, how could she not?! 🥹🌅💕

🔑 Closing #3 went off like clockwork! My buyers came along on day one, fell in love, and won out in a multiple-offer situation. ❤️ And today, my sellers had everything perfectly prepared for them …manuals, instructions, extra keys… all organized in a binder! 👏📚🔑 Talk about making a buyer feel welcome!

And … I got to hold the new baby all during closing 🥹👶💕. Definitely the highlight of my day! At this point, I’m pretty sure we’ve bonded. 😂💕

Some closings are easy. Some make you work for every single signature. And some remind you that timing really is everything. ❤️🏡

I listed this home back in April, and within two days we had multiple offers. We chose the best one, went under contract, and thought we were on our way to a pretty straightforward closing.

That was about the last straightforward part. 😅

Over the next four months, we worked through complicated title issues, unexpected circumstances, delays, and ultimately challenges on the buyer’s side that we just couldn’t overcome. We tried and tried to hold the deal together, but eventually we had to accept that this home was going back on the market.

And then, almost at that exact moment, my phone rang.

A couple was moving to Brewton to work with Brewton Iron Works and needed a home quickly. They had a specific cash budget and a pretty specific wish list ..somewhere on the outskirts of town, a little room to breathe, and space for an outbuilding.

We spent a weekend looking at houses, and nothing was quite right.

Then Monday came.

I called them and said, “I want you to look at one more house. The listing is still going to show pending right now… but that’s changing today.”

They came back to town, walked through the house, and cried.

They knew.

It felt like home. ❤️

And then came the part that gave all of us chills.

The former owner of this home, who passed away a few years ago, worked at Brewton Iron Works for 35 years. At closing yesterday, his daughter met the new buyer and could hardly get over how much he reminded her of her dad ..even down to the resemblance.

After everything we went through with this one, I can’t help but believe maybe we weren’t being denied the closing we wanted.

Maybe we were simply being delayed until the people who were supposed to have this home could find it.

Four months later, the right buyers walked through the door.

And this time, it all fell into place. ❤️

I also have to say how incredibly thankful I am for my sellers, who were wonderful and so patient through every twist and turn of this process. And a huge thank-you to Otts, Moore Law Firm for their patience, persistence, and help in working through all of the title issues along the way. This one took a team, and I’m so grateful for everyone who stayed with it until we finally made it to the closing table.

Our buyer is making the move to Brewton all the way from Louisiana, and she truly could not be happier with her new home. She is absolutely precious, and one of my favorite parts of this business is getting the opportunity to know people and their families along the way. I’m so glad this one brought her into our lives!

Some real estate stories are about houses. This one is about people. ❤️

This home went under contract before I ever had the chance to put it on the market, but that’s not even close to what makes this one so special.

My buyers were expecting a sweet baby, and when their due date got moved up, my sellers kicked things into extra high gear. As they emptied each room, they’d call and say, “We’re finished in here if y’all want to bring another load.”

They invited my buyers to go ahead and choose the nursery, paint it, and start moving in all of the baby’s furniture. They spent evening after evening showing them things around the yard, explaining how to care for the pool, and passing along all those little things you learn from loving and caring for a home.

It truly became two families working together to make this transition as easy as possible.

And then Monday morning, that sweet baby girl arrived. 💗

In the middle of ALL the chaos of packing, moving, and preparing for their own next chapter, my seller still thought to do the sweetest thing. She tied a pink ribbon around a tree at my buyers’ current home (the one we’ll be selling in a few weeks) AND placed a beautiful pink bow on the lamp post in front of their new home. 🎀

One ribbon for the home where this little family’s story began… and one for the home where their next chapter is about to begin. ❤️

And the kindness didn’t stop there. Otts, Moore was kind enough to ride with me to their home to notarize paperwork so this brand-new little family didn’t have to pack up and leave the house with a newborn. Just one more person willing to go a little out of the way to make things easier during such a special and busy time.

And I got a pretty special bonus out of the trip.. I got to hold that sweet baby girl! 💕 Watching these two step into parenthood in the middle of a move and a closing has been pretty amazing. They are already such natural, wonderful parents and are handling all of this transition with more grace than you can imagine. That little girl is one lucky baby. 💗

AND when my sellers needed some last minute help today.. these sweet, tired new parents came to their aid.

I could go on for days about the kindness and generosity I’ve witnessed throughout this transaction. None of it was required. Everyone simply chose, over and over again, to make things a little easier and a little more special for another family.

Sometimes real estate really is so much more than houses.

It’s people taking care of people.. and I never get tired of being a part of that ❤️🏡🎀
