Some closings just mean a little more. ❤️🏡

I originally started working with Eric on investment properties, and somewhere along the way, he told me his family was growing and it was time to find a home that would grow with them. That’s when he introduced me to Heather, and our search began.

And what a search it has been. 😂 Years of looking, houses that weren’t quite right, offers that didn’t work out, and plenty of moments where we thought, “is this ever going to happen.”

Until we finally found THE house. ❤️

But finding it was only half the battle. We still had their current home to sell and a lot of moving pieces that had to come together to make this one happen. They trusted me through all of it from finding the right house, to getting theirs sold, to navigating everything in between.

When you work with people for this long, you become invested in more than the transaction. I wanted this one for them, and getting to see Eric and Heather finally make it to the closing table with a home for their growing family makes this one pretty special.

After years of looking, waiting, offers, selling and trusting the process…

Sometimes real estate plans change a lot faster than expected! 🏡

I first talked with Brian months ago when he was working with about a year-long timeline to make his move. Well… that timeline got moved up pretty quickly, and suddenly we needed to get things moving!

We hit a little slowdown along the way thanks to the flooding, but we kept everything moving forward, worked through the hiccups, and got it DONE! 🙌

It’s always a good reminder that even if you think your move is months—or even a year—away, it never hurts to start the conversation early. Plans change, life happens, and when they do, having a plan already in place makes all the difference.

NAR Leadership Summit in Chicago did not disappoint! 🏙️✨

A few days filled with learning, new ideas, great conversations, and connecting with leaders from across the country. One of my favorite parts was getting the opportunity to spend time with and get to know our incoming WVAR President, along with other local association presidents from across West Virginia. There’s something really valuable about being able to share ideas, talk about what’s happening in each of our local markets, and build relationships outside of the meeting room.

Of course, we couldn’t come to Chicago without having a little fun too — exploring the city, trying some new food, and making plenty of memories along the way.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent our association, continue growing as a leader, and bring new ideas and energy back home to West Virginia. 💙🏡

Chicago, you were good to us! Until next time! ✈️
