Many of you know that I started off my sales career in retail. In 2016, I was promoted to General Manager of a luxury retail store. During my time there, I had a very loyal client named Jaimie who would come in for every holiday and birthday for gifts for his wife.

Little did I know, meeting Jaimie was going to change my career trajectory forever .One day, he came in and shopped as he normally did, and before he left, he asked me a simple question.

"You know Gab, you could sell me the shoes on my feet if you tried. Have you ever considered becoming a realtor?" 🤔

For 6 months he consistently asked why I wouldn't take my sales skills to a bigger and better place. I finally cracked.

On my last day with the company, I enrolled myself into real estate school and never looked back.

When I first started real estate, I had no idea how I was going to be successful in this new career, and I was SO nervous.

I signed on to work with a very well known local Broker, where I was able to close my first 5 deals in my first year. A few months later, I met my current Broker, Sal Ventre, who developed me into the successful agent I am today. If I had never met Jaimie at my store, I wouldn't have known how much I was capable of. I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason-- even the people we meet.
