I'm Alexis and I'm a Realtor who dropped out of getting my psychology degree....Now I'm bringing my passions back to light to help people change and grow.
Some people can't just watch you win.
The second they see you doing something well, suddenly they're doing it too. Not because they love it. Because they need to prove they can do it better.
But that game has no finish line. Every new thing they grab splits their focus, drains their energy, and leaves chaos behind in their business and their personal life. Thin everywhere. Excellent nowhere.
That's one face of toxic competition. But the roots run deeper, and they don't always look like copying. Psychology points to three.
First, fragile self-esteem. They don't just want to win. They need to, because losing makes them feel worthless.
Second, childhood. Many grew up where love was the prize for first place, and second place got silence.
Third, the system. Stack rankings, winner-take-all rewards. Environments that teach one lie: success is scarce, so your win is my loss.
Here's the truth. You don't have to be a copycat to get trapped in this. Most people are running a race they never signed up for.
So stop keeping score. Get clear on what makes your internal self happy, and go all in on your natural gifts.
There is only one of you. Stop shrinking, stop focusing on someone else to fit someone else's game. Let your individuality shine bright.
