Most agents spend their careers looking for the perfect split.

The best agents look for the right rooms. The ones that can’t be out grown. The ones who don’t just promote closing your next deal (because that is not sustainable!) as Realtors, we are business owners. It’s time we all start acting like it and focus on more than closing the next deal.

Because price is only one piece of the puzzle. The real question is: “who’s most likely to actually close?” “Who has the financial strength, the motivation, the flexibility to see this through?”

The trajectory of my life changed the moment I stopped trying to figure it out alone.

Not because I was weak. Because I was finally smart enough to stop pretending I didn’t need a foundation under me.

The right people don’t just support you. They expand what you think is possible. They show you the version of the life you’ve been quietly wanting and they make it feel real.

I am where I am because of who I chose to be around. That’s a fact. I just had to plug in and show up for myself.

I stopped trying to “do more” in my business.
I started trying to become more intentional.

And weirdly enough… that’s when everything started growing faster.

I think a lot of agents are stuck in a cycle of reacting all day long.
Notifications. Calls. Emails. Fires. Leads. Anxiety. Repeat.

But a scalable business is usually built before the workday even starts.
Your mind creates your habits.
Your habits create your systems.
Your systems create your income.

A few things that genuinely changed my business:

• Turning my phone on Do Not Disturb for the first hour of the day
• Having actual systems for follow up instead of relying on memory
• Stopping the addiction to urgency
• Meditating before opening my laptop
• Time blocking instead of “winging it”
• Protecting my energy like it affects my income… because it does

The agents who last the longest aren’t always the hardest workers.
They’re usually the ones who learned how to regulate themselves, simplify their business, and stop operating in survival mode.

You don’t need more hours.
You need less chaos.

I’ve been talking about this a lot more lately because honestly, I think the industry glamorizes burnout way too much.

Your brokerage is a vehicle. It should be driving you toward your financial goals, not just holding your license.

Before you commit to any brokerage, or say “never” here are the questions worth asking:

Does it offer more than 2 income streams?
Does it give you equity in what you’re building?
Does it have the tools, training, and support to actually help you grow?
Does it give you the freedom to build your own brand?
Does it plug me into free daily/weekly trainings and support?

Because the right brokerage doesn’t just hold your license. It should expand beyond 4 walls, and help you accelerate your career.
(offer structuring, public speaking, digital products/monetization, team operations, CRM optimization, automation/systems, ads, lead generation, prospecting, objection handling, social media/youtube, SEO, funnels, AI, investing/flipping/syndications, tax planning, assistants/VA’s, negotiations/objection handling, team growth/retention, etc!)
