🍂 Westy Fest is creeping up on us! Come check out our FREE fall festival with carnival games, trick-or-treating, a spectacular hot-air balloon glow, drone show, live musical performances by local bands, food trucks, jumping castles, and more. Don't forget to pick your perfect pumpkin at the pumpkin patch! Admission is free - don't ghost us, mark your calendar now!

🚌 Getting to the Festival
We highly recommend utilizing our shuttle system to get to Westy Fest, as parking will be extremely limited on-site. Shuttles will run every 15-20 minutes from 12-9 p.m.
Shuttle Locations:
College Hill Library: 3705 W. 112th Ave.
Westminster City Hall: 4800 W. 92nd Ave.
Westminster High School: 6933 N. Raleigh Street

🚗 Parking on-site will be extremely limited (take a shuttle!⬆️)
♿️ Handicap parking will be available on-site.
🚲 A free bike valet is located on the north side of the park.
🚕Uber/Lyft- Please follow signage for drop-off and pick-up.

🎈 Hot Air Balloon Glow
There will be 6 hot air balloons. Balloons arrive at 4:30 p.m. and will inflate at approximately 5:45 p.m. (weather dependent; winds must be below 5mph). Balloons remain on the ground during the event. All of the pilots are very friendly and love for you to visit and ask questions.

🎃 Pumpkin Patch
The pumpkin patch is located at the lake pavilion. Pumpkins vary in size and price. Cash and credit cards are accepted. There is a free pumpkin valet so you can check your pumpkin while you enjoy the rest of the festival!

🍕🍔 Food & Drink 🍺🍦
There will be various food, b**r, and drink vendors offering tasty treats for purchase. Bringing in outside alcohol is prohibited.

🎪 Carnival games, bounce houses, trampolines, ropes courses, and trick-or-treating are all FREE!

⭐ Drone Show
Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary, Colorado’s 150th anniversary, and Westminster’s 115th anniversary with a special drone show! The show will begin at approximately 7:45 p.m. and is weather dependent.

🎸 Enjoy live music at two different stages!

👻 Costumes
We love costumes! Please make sure they are appropriate for this family-friendly event. Leave any sharp objects, sticks, bats, and replica guns/swords at home.

🐕 Pets
The crowd size may be a little overwhelming for your pets, so it is recommended that you leave them at home. If they do join us, be sure to keep them on a leash and clean up after them.

♻️ Zero Waste: We are proud to be working with Scraps and r.Cup to produce very little waste during this event. Please look at the sorting stations and sort your trash/recyclables accordingly.

Proof of City of Brighton residency (such as a water bill or driver’s license) is required for all events. Services are for residential use only; no commercial or industrial waste will be accepted.

Trash Bash: Large-Item Drop-Off & Special Needs Pick-Up
Drop-Off Dates & Time: Friday, Sept. 18 & Saturday, Sept. 19 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Location: Wastewater Treatment Facility, 325 N. Kuner Rd. (Use Brighton St. entrance)
Special Needs Pick-Up: Sept. 15 & 16 (Call 303-655-2087 to schedule)
Fees & Donations: $10 suggested donation. Tires accepted for a fee ($7 car/light pickup, $10 oversized, $20 semi-truck). Cash or check only.
Acceptable Items:
Furniture, cabinets, appliances (no units with Freon/refrigerants), bicycles, carpet (cut up), doors, yard equipment, mattresses/box springs, secure bundles of branches under 5 feet, and nail-free lumber under 5 feet. Small loose items must be securely containerized.
Prohibited Items:
Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, TVs, computers, stereos, microwaves, household trash, yard waste/grass clippings, concrete/remodel debris, car bodies, hazardous chemicals, liquids, paint, oil, pesticides, or sealed containers with unknown contents.
