A Year of Impact. A Community of Gratitude.
Huge thanks to the NYC Department of Small Business Services for supporting the Brighton Beach Business Improvement District through the Small BID Support Grant – Fiscal Year 2026.
Because of this funding, we were able to continue serving our business community and making Brighton Beach a more vibrant, welcoming, and engaging destination for everyone.
Throughout FY2026, we proudly:
✨ Organized and supported community events
✨ Promoted local businesses through social media and marketing campaigns
✨ Created seasonal promotions and holiday initiatives
✨ Produced videos, stories, and reels showcasing our neighborhood
✨ Updated our website and interactive business map
✨ Collaborated with local organizations, city agencies, and community partners. Organized educational workshops and one-on-one consultations to help local businesses understand and comply with New York City and New York State rules and regulations
✨ Connected residents and visitors with everything Brighton Beach has to offer

🇺🇸 A Spectacular 4th of July on the Boardwalk! 🎆
What an incredible Independence Day celebration on the Coney Island Boardwalk! Hundreds of residents, families, and visitors came together to enjoy the festive atmosphere, beautiful weather, live entertainment, and the unforgettable fireworks over the Atlantic Ocean.
The Brighton Beach BID was proud to celebrate alongside our amazing community and share in this special American tradition. Seeing the Boardwalk filled with smiling faces, laughter, and patriotic spirit was a wonderful reminder of what makes our neighborhood so vibrant and welcoming.

Brighton Beach BID was proud to partner with Shorefront Y for the Walk for Autism 2026, a meaningful community event dedicated to raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and supporting individuals and families affected by autism.
It was an inspiring day filled with community spirit, family-friendly activities, entertainment, and opportunities for neighbors to come together for an important cause. We were honored to stand alongside participants, volunteers, sponsors, and community organizations who helped make this event such a success.
As part of our support for this important event, Brighton Beach BID provided gifts to participants and distributed our signature Brighton Beach BID T-shirts, helping make the day even more memorable for everyone involved.
A special thank you to Shorefront Y and everyone who joined us in showing support, spreading awareness, and celebrating the strength and uniqueness of the autism community.
Together, we continue to build a more inclusive and compassionate Brighton Beach.

What an incredible day at Shorefront Y’s Family Day! 🎉💙
Yesterday, on Sunday, May 17th, families from across our community came together for an afternoon filled with laughter, music, performances, games, activities, delicious treats, and unforgettable memories. From dancing and limbo contests to community tables, children’s performances, and sweet ice cream smiles — the energy and joy in the room were truly amazing.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, participated, volunteered, and helped make this event so special. Events like these remind us how strong, vibrant, and connected our Brighton Beach community truly is.
We’re already looking forward to the next one! ☀️✨
