🏡 CLOSING DAY! 🔑❤️
In real estate school, I was taught not to be surprised when family and friends don’t necessarily come to you when they’re ready to buy a home. But there is something incredibly refreshing—and honestly, so rewarding—about having people you know and care about trust you to walk beside them and advocate for them through one of the biggest purchases of their lives.
So you can imagine how tickled I was when Dusty reached out and asked me to help him find a place for him and his family to call home. 🥹
We spent an entire Saturday working our way through a long list of showings. When we walked into this house, they knew. They could picture their family there. We canceled the last showing on the list, wrote an offer, and went under contract.
Then came the waiting. And the negotiations. And the red tape. And all the behind-the-scenes work that buyers don’t always see…
Three months later—and after what I think we can ALL agree was a process that put us through the ringer—we finally made it to the closing table! 🎉
